The Carolina Hurricanes have traded Jozef Vasicek to the Nashville Predators for Scott Walker. Scott Walker is the Nashville Predators all time leading scorer. I don't know if I understand this move.

Ed Belfour is now in Florida working out for the Panthers. If he passes, it is expected they will sign him to a one year deal.

The Minnesota Wild have signed Mikko Koivu to a multi-year contract. Mikko is brother of Saku.

Antoine Vermette has signed a 2 year, 2 million dollar contract with the Senators.
